Privacy Policy
This policy explains how personal data may be handled when you visit archie.channel, receive an invitation to Archie, use an Archie deployment, or connect a third-party account. Archie is a homebrew, closed-access AI harness. It is available only by direct invitation.
Who controls your data
The operator who provides your Archie deployment controls the data processed in that deployment. The operator of archie.channel controls the limited data involved in serving this website. A separate agreement, invitation, or deployment notice may identify the operator and add terms for a particular use.
Data Archie may process
The data involved depends on the features and integrations you choose to enable. It may include the following categories.
- Account and identity data, such as your name, email address, account identifier, profile information, role, and access permissions.
- OAuth data and connected-service data, such as email, calendar, files, contacts, messages, meeting records, or other content you authorize Archie to access.
- Content you provide or create, such as prompts, instructions, tasks, comments, documents, files, model outputs, and feedback.
- Operational data, such as logs, timestamps, model and tool activity, error reports, security events, device information, and network metadata.
- Configuration data, such as enabled providers, integration settings, access rules, and encrypted or access-controlled credentials and tokens.
- Communications sent when you request an invitation, support, or information.
Website data
archie.channel is a static website. It has no account system, contact form, advertising cookie, or analytics script. The hosting provider may process request logs, IP addresses, browser details, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. Those records are subject to the hosting provider's terms and retention practices.
How data is used
Archie and its operators may use personal data to provide requested features, authenticate users, connect authorized services, route work, maintain task and memory records, generate requested outputs, secure the system, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, comply with law, and improve reliability.
Archie does not sell personal data. Archie does not use connected-account data for advertising.
OAuth and Google API data
Archie requests access only to the OAuth scopes shown during authorization. It uses connected data to perform actions you request or to provide features you enable. You can decline authorization or revoke access at any time through the connected service. Google users can manage access at Google Account permissions.
Archie's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Google user data is not transferred for advertising, credit eligibility, insurance eligibility, or sale to data brokers. Human access is limited to cases where you give specific permission, access is needed for security or support, access is required by law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Local processing and third-party providers
Archie is designed to run on the operator's machine. Local tasks, memory, configuration, and logs may remain on that machine. Data leaves the machine when a requested feature uses a connected service, model provider, hosting provider, communications provider, or other integration. Each third party processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
You and the deployment operator choose which providers and integrations to enable. Do not submit data to a provider unless you are authorized to do so.
Legal bases
Where law requires a legal basis, processing may rely on your consent, performance of a contract or requested service, compliance with a legal duty, or legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving Archie. You may withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing completed before withdrawal.
Sharing
Personal data may be shared with the deployment operator, authorized collaborators, model providers, connected-service providers, hosting and infrastructure vendors, professional advisers, or public authorities when required by law. Data may also be transferred as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of the relevant service, subject to applicable safeguards.
Access is limited to the data and purpose needed for the relevant service. Archie does not authorize third parties to use connected-account data for their own advertising.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept only as long as needed for the enabled feature, security, legal duties, dispute resolution, or an applicable agreement. Retention varies by deployment because operators control local records and connected services keep their own copies.
You may ask the deployment operator to access, correct, export, or delete data under the operator's control. Revoking OAuth access stops future access but does not automatically delete data already stored. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until normal deletion cycles complete.
Security
Archie uses access controls, local file permissions, scoped credentials, audit records, and fail-closed checks where configured. No system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your device, accounts, recovery methods, and integration credentials secure. Report suspected unauthorized access to the person who issued your invitation.
International transfers
Model, hosting, and connected-service providers may process data in countries other than your own. The deployment operator is responsible for selecting providers and applying any transfer mechanism required by law.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and complain to a data protection authority. These rights may be limited by law. Send requests to the deployment operator or the person who issued your invitation.
Children
Archie is intended for adults and authorized professional users. It is not directed to children under 16. Do not provide a child access or submit a child's personal data without lawful authority.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change when Archie, its integrations, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the deployment or invitation channel.
